Today I have come to a final conclusion of my three story pitch's and are as follows:
#1
Man
offers gestures of kindness to misfortunate people on the street,
with a sadistic agenda behind it all.
#2
Boys
father is killed after a long period a secrecy from his family; boy
discovers what secrets he was hiding.
#3
Police
run out of crime to enforce; end up creating artificial crime to
solve.
My one selected story that I have elaborated on and will be conceptualising from now on is "#3" for these reasons: I felt that the simplicity of this story will be powerful for the message I wish to portray and easy to relate and identify with the audience, I believe everyone has at some point of time in their life encountered some sort of corruption or deception either in conjunction with authority or not,it is something well prevalent in the world right now. With everything that has been, and still is going on with particular events surrounding authority figures in the world, it will be no surprise to me when an audience can immediately ascertain tendencies in this story with their own life.
The extended description of this story so far is as follows:
An
audacious police officer is miserable about his outstanding criminal
enforcing and the fact that he has literally extinguish crime as a
whole. Endeavouring for a reason to keep his job as a cop, he spends
all his time planting “criminal evidence” on unwitting citizens
all so he can arrest them and in turn his job is worth keeping.
I am intending to extend and elaborate on this far more over the next days.
I have done a rough concept on the basic this I can see this corrupt officer doing.
